Each chakra has tones associated with them. When singing them can help to support your body/mind/spirit’s natural healing capacity.

Regarded by many master healers as the best healing tool we have, our voices hold a special place within the sound healing and therapy world.

Come explore your voice and enliven your body in a new way. We’ll work through the structure of the chakras, and also include other helpful methods as well. This work integrates the mind, spirit and body including the emotions, important for the opening of the heart.

June 6: Connecting Sound and your Astrological Portrait: Each planet has its own vibration which have been translated into pitches. We’ll explore your Sun, Moon and Venus by sounding them. Bring your astrological chart or the information on which signs each of these planets is in. Time of birth is not needed for this.

June 13: Mantras: Songs to Enliven and Clear the path. Mantras, in this case,  are short sung spiritual texts which help us to connect with the Divine within. These short songs are nourishment for the soul and help to support us on our healing journeys. The chanting tradition is common in many traditions, from Judeo-Christian- Islam to Hindu, Seikh, and Buddhism. Come learn some mantras from different traditions.

June 20: Sounding your Name. How do you feel about your name? Do you like it, or not? Many of us hold a lot of emotion around our names, stemming from childhood. In this session we shall get in touch with these feelings and bring healing to your relationship with yourself and others.

June 27: Toning the Chakras and Meridians. Starting with toning the basic chakras, we shall continue with toning the meridians, the fine energy pathways that circulate throughout the body. These pathways are also worked with in acupuncture, Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT or tapping), shiatzu therapy and other modalities. We shall use our voices.
